Egypt is one of these Sacred Lands.
For us, at Sounds of Light, what we are Remembering is deeply, intimately connected with Sound and the Healing Power of our own Voices.

As an instrument of Prayer & Devotion.
As an Open Channel for the Divine to Sing into.
As a way of entering into a relationship with the Unseen.
As a way of transmitting Light & Healing Frequencies
into the physical & light body,
and out into the World.
For more than a decade, this has been one of the central mysteries of our work.
We often use our Voices as a form of personal expression..
..but what happens when we allow our Voices to become a Vessel for something
far greater than ourselves?
What happens when we listen deeply enough,
openly surrender enough,
and open our hearts, minds and voices enough?

For some people, Egypt carries an almost inexplicable recognition.
A temple you have never entered can feel familiar.
A deity's face can stir something within you that you struggle to name.
An ancient prayer can open grief, devotion or longing - before you understand why.
Some of us set foot on Egyptian soil, and immediately feel as though we have returned Home.
And when we open our voices in prayer and devotion within the Sacred Temples of Ancient Egypt,
we find ourselves singing in tones, tongues, and melodies that we have never heard or learnt before!
Within Sounds of Light, we understand this as part of
Remembering the Sound Channel.
A return to an ancient human capacity to:
Listen inwardly,
Open our Voice,
and to allow
Prayer, Energy & Divine Consciousness
to move through us..
Through Sound.
The healing technology of sound is already embedded in the human Voice.
This pilgrimage is about awakening it and remembering how to access it
- and learning how prayer, surrender, resonance and sacred space can help awaken that capacity more fully.
For many of us, we Remember that we have been here before,
walked these temple halls, sung in the temple chambers,
and performed similar rituals of sound and healing in previous lifetimes.
We remember our relationship with the Temples themselves.
The Ancient Temples of Egypt were not just built as monuments -
but as Sacred Instruments.
Chambers, corridors and stone halls shaped and positioned to hold, amplify and transmit the Technology of Sound.
These Temples have been calling us,
beckoning us home,
and inviting us to Awaken.
This is our sacred mission -
to Remember and Re-awaken the Power of Sound and Voice,
for personal and collective healing,
and as a tool for cultivating peace on Earth.
The temples can become our teachers in this remembering.
Their architecture, resonance, symbolism and ritual fields hold ways of working with sound that may be dormant, but are not gone.

Walking the Essene Stream
The intention of Sounds of Egypt is not primarily to make you a better singer.
It is to help you become a more available instrument.
Someone who listens for what wants to move and be sounded.
Someone increasingly able to surrender their Voice in prayer, healing, devotion and service -
allowing sound to become a carrier for something greater than the individual self.
This Way of Pilgrimage is deeply rooted in the Essene stream that informs Sounds of Light.
We walk in the footsteps of Yeshua, Mary Magdalene and the Essene brothers and sisters who lived their lives devoted to prayer, purification, service, relationship with the elements, and pilgrimage through sacred lands.
The Essene Stream has its roots in the Mystery School lineages of Ancient Egypt.
They carried prayer not only in words, but through how they lived, breathed, prayed, and communed with one another and the land. In essence, they embodied the wisdom they taught.
They walked the land with reverence.
They communed with the waters, the desert, the temples, and one another.
They prepared themselves and their vessels before entering sacred spaces.
They understood spiritual practice as a way of becoming a clearer channel for Divine Presence,
and for service of the highest good.
This Living Archive lives in the Aramaic prayers we sing;
the way we move through the landscape,
how we approach the temples,
how we listen before entering,
and in how we make offerings before we ask to receive anything at all.
For us, Pilgrimage is a practice of cultivating relationship with the land, temples, elements, and one another -
As well as with the unseen field of prayer and consciousness that has moved through these lands for generations.
We open our Voice not simply for ourselves.
We open it so that something can move through us -
in service and through prayer.
As we move along the Nile and through the sacred temple landscapes of Egypt, we carry this Essene devotional thread with us - together with the Egyptian temple traditions and the multidimensional teachings that inform Sounding Light.
And at the heart of that journey awaits Dendera.

The Hathor Transmission at Dendera
Sounds of Egypt is an Initiatory Pilgrimage into the Healing and Ceremonial Power of your own Voice.
Our beloved teacher and source of this transmission is the Hathor Sound Temple of Dendera.
Hathor was the Ancient Egyptian Goddess associated with
music, song, dance, love, beauty, joy and ecstatic devotion.
Her temple is therefore not incidental to a journey devoted to sacred voice.
For us, Dendera represents a living meeting place between
voice, prayer, architecture and consciousness.
She is asking us to enter Her fully prepared.
To enter the Temple of Hathor not simply as an ancient monument, but as a transmission field that can
awaken the technology of sound embedded within our own Voice.
The invitation is to prepare ourselves to enter Dendera as a living, activated Sound Temple - as sound initiates with our voices wide open and ready to receive and be of service to the temple

Why Dendera is my Home and Source of my work
More than a decade ago, the Hathors entered my life and began calling me home to Dendera.
At the time, I barely understood what was happening. I simply knew that something was opening through my Voice and that the Hathors were initiating me - especially through the field of Tom Kenyon.
I began sounding frequencies I had never learned, singing directly into people's bodies, and experiencing sound moving through me with an intelligence that seemed to exist beyond my conscious mind.
Over the years, I watched bodies release, Voices open, long-held emotional patterns shift, and people reconnect with lost parts of themselves.
Slowly, I began to understand that I was remembering something.
A technology of sound already embedded within the human voice.
A way of allowing prayer, energy, consciousness and light to move through sound.
And again and again, that remembering led me back to the main temple of Hathor at Dendera.
When I first began entering Dendera privately in 2019, I knew that my relationship with this temple could not be casual.
I needed to return, listen, pray and sound there - cultivating enough intimacy with its chambers that I could enter in ceremony and offer my own sacred Voice in service.
Within my own spiritual remembrance, this relationship reaches much further back.
I experience Dendera as a place where I have worked with sound across other lifetimes,
as a Hathoric initiate, using voice, prayer and frequency in service within these temple chambers.
This is why this pilgrimage is deeply personal for me.
I have spent more than ten years preparing myself to open this doorway for others!
For the past 2 years, Sounds of Egypt has entered Dendera privately in ceremony -
and we have remembered so much already.
Yet Dendera has been asking to offer an even deeper transmission.
I am not simply inviting you to visit Dendera with me. I am opening a very intimate doorway into a transmission field I have spent more than a decade cultivating relationship with.
I want to invite you into that relationship - to allow Dendera herself to become one of your teachers in remembering the technology of sound already living inside your own Voice.
For me, this is the Heart of Sounds of Egypt - and one of the most intimate doors within Sounds of Light that I know how to open.

ENTERING THE TEMPLE OF HATHOR
The hush of night surrounds you, the sun’s early morning light still far away behind the horizon.
All is still. You walk in silence, the patter of footsteps the only sound echoing against the night as your group moves as One towards the towering stone pillars of the Sacred Temple of Dendera.
You glance up at the faces of Hathor, carved high up atop towering stone pillars, and they seem to watch you as you walk ever closer to the Temple gate.
Despite being faceless.
Walking together as a group of reverent souls in devotion and silent prayer, you can feel the life that emanates from the Temple - how alive the walls feel as you pass between them, entering into the first chamber and spreading out across the large stone hall.
As soon as you pass through the gateway, the quality of the air changes.
The temperature shifts - cooler, denser, older.
Your eyes adjust to columns carved floor to ceiling with hieroglyphics worn and faded
by thousands of years of human touch and light.
Then, someone begins to sing.
The sound doesn't fade into the distance the way it would outside.
It whirls around the room like a living vortex as other voices join the call to sing.
The sound stretches into the vastness of the space - it comes back changed, vibrating higher,
layered within itself.
You feel before you understand it -
a vibration in your chest, in your bones, raising the hair on your skin.
You sense, deep in your soul, that the living structure of these Sacred Chambers are Awakening.
You open your voice up to join the rising chorus, singing together in a heart choir,
feeling a rush of resonance and remembrance coursing through your body,
opening your channel fully to the divine.
As your voice rises, so does your energy,
lifting you,
cultivating a sense of aliveness you’ve rarely tapped into before.
As you lift your voice,
your heart
your soul
in prayer and devotional sound,
you become the offering…
…and somewhere in that exchange,
you start to remember what your own voice is actually capable of.
Offering to the Temple
We do not enter Dendera simply asking for an experience.
We enter in reciprocity.
We bring our voices. Our prayers. The Aramaic chants that have lived in our bodies throughout the week. Our devotion. Our silence. Our willingness to listen.
We offer sound into the chambers as prayer, and allow the ritual to emerge in relationship with the temple itself.
Aramaic prayer, Heart Choir, sustained tones and Sounding Light become different keys into the same practice: sounding with enough devotion, coherence and surrender that the architecture itself can begin to participate in the ritual.
Receiving From The Temple
The architecture of Dendera carries remarkable acoustic properties,
and the Priestesses of Hathor and Isis knew this!
They used to dance, sing, and celebrate together within these Sacred Sound Chambers - imbuing the Temple walls with the power of their prayers, chants and songs.
We have discovered what the Egyptians already knew -
That when we sing into the Temples..
The Temples Sing Back.
Therefore we approach Dendera as a Living Sound Temple.
A living archive of Hathoric consciousness -
a place where sound belongs to devotion, ritual and relationship with the Divine.
The purpose is not only to sound into the temple.
It is to become receptive enough to receive what the temple carries.
THE JOURNEY
The Steps Leading Us To Dendera
ASWAN
We first spend seven days beside the Nile at the Blue Lotus Ecolodge, in Aswan.
Here we will pratice opening our vessel through which the Temples will be received.
We work with Blue Lotus to soften the body and awaken remembrance.
We chant Aramaic prayers until sacred language moves beyond the intellect,
and becomes a higher vibration inside us.
We explore tones, harmonics and light language in ceremony and ritual.
We receive Sounding Light into the body and light body, and learn how to surrender enough to sound into one another, allowing healing frequencies to come through the power of our voices.
Gradually, as we commune together by the River Nile in Aswan - something begins to shift.
Our Voices becomes less controlled, and the mind moves out of the way.
The body becomes more receptive, opening to receive medicine through sound and intention,
and we, as a coherent group field, become ready to pilgrimage north towards Abydos, and Dendera.
Slowly, a Living Sound Temple begins to form between us..
..and then our temple enters the temples themselves.
THE NILE & THE ISIS TEMPLE
During our week of preparation in Aswan, we visit the Temple of Isis, and the original Isis Temple Gates.
Here we will learn how to enter sacred places together as One Field, and begin deepening our journey of remembrance together.
Isis holds the key to the resurrection mysteries of the Divine Feminine, and we shall invite this wisdom to evoke a deep shedding and release of what no longer serves us.
The Isis Temple will be our first experience of awakening the Temple Fields through sound, prayer, devotion and movement.
We learn not to rush towards experience, but to remain present with what comes alive within us as we enter the temple gates, offering our prayers and devotion to the temple itself.
We then carry our Sound Temple North, towards Abydos and the Water Temple of Osireion
Abydos is one of Ancient Egypt's great sacred centres, intimately connected with Osiris, death, rebirth and the mysteries of regeneration.
Osireion is one of the most mystical temples of Egypt. It sits on a 900 meter water shaft - and the waters are of another world.
Some say it´s water from Atlantis - and that it holds powerful healing qualities.
A site not visited often - and yet we have been asked to not miss this opportunity to receive a very special transmission.
Before we set foot in Dendera, we spend a full day in the Temple of Abydos and Osireion.
Listening for what must be released,
what is being remembered,
and what is now ready to cross with us into the final initiation.
What have you come here to remember?
This moment becomes the threshold between preparation and initiation.
..and from there, we enter the heart of the pilgrimage.
ABYDOS
Before dawn, while the temple is still closed to the public, we enter Dendera in prayer.
The outer world is quiet, the chambers are anticipating our arrival, and the field we have spent the previous week cultivating enters with us.
This is where the entire pilgrimage comes together.
During our private access, we work ceremonially in several spaces within Dendera. We offer everything we have cultivated to prepare us for this sacred space - Blue Lotus. Aramaic. Prayer. Surrender. Sounding Light. The Sound Temple.
We allow the practices cultivated throughout the pilgrimage to meet the acoustic body of the temple - and when we sound into the field, the field sounds back into us.
The transmission does not necessarily arrive as words.
It may move through the body as heat, emotion, tone, vision, movement, memory, presence or a sudden change in the voice.
We sometimes speak of this as a download - a field of information entering the body and light body before the mind has any need to understand it.
Inside the Crypts of Hathor, we enter one of the most intimate ceremonies of the pilgrimage.
Here each participant receives a Sounding Light transmission.
One by one, we sound directly into the body and light body
The deeper initiation is to allow the Temple to enter you.
To let its harmonic field become something your body remembers.
To allow your voice to be changed by what you have encountered, and to return home with this gift integrated into your being so that you, in turn, can gift it out into the world.
DENDERA
The Hathoric Initiation
After the initiation, we remain within Dendera as it opens it's doors to the public.
We get to explore the many Temple chambers, rest our backs against Temple walls, journal our experience, and meditate for an extended period within the Hathoric field. Listening and integrating.
We will return to our base in Abydos for one more night before closing the core container.
There will be an option to return for an integration space with the Sounds of Egypt team to our original base camp -
The Blue Lotus Eco Lodge, in Aswan.
This space is for those who want to integrate their experiences by the Nile,
returning to prayer and meditation with the Blue Lotus flower,
and allowing the Pilgrimage to settle deep within you before you return home.

Everything we eventually carry into Dendera is cultivated first beside the Nile.
During our seven days in Aswan, four core pillars and practices become the foundation of our preparation.
They open our body, our voice, our capacity to listen, and they cultivate a coherent field between us.
Together, these pillars form the initiatory path through which we gradually become more receptive, more surrendered, and more available to sound.
They prepare us to enter Dendera not simply as visitors, but as a Living Sound Temple.

BLUE LOTUS DIETA
The Flower of Remembrance
The Blue Lotus flower has lived within the sacred imagery of Egypt for thousands of years as a plant, flower, and powerful symbol associated with rebirth, regeneration, divine emergence and the rising sun.
To us, Blue Lotus is a living plant consciousness - a Sacred Plant Spirit we have been cultivating a relationship with for many years. We often welcome Her into our ceremonies, both by the Nile and as we enter into Sacred Temple Spaces.
During Sounds of Egypt, we do not simply hold ceremonies with Blue Lotus.
We enter a Blue Lotus Dieta
An ancient way of cultivating a sustained relationship with the Sacred Flower and Her Spirit
During our week beside the Nile in Aswan, Blue Lotus becomes a part of the rhythm of our lives
and part of the initiatory field preparing us for the temples.
We live beside the ponds where she grows, sitting in meditation beside Her opening flowers, which we then harvest with intention and respect.
We commune with Her during ceremony and ritual, drinking Blue Lotus as a tea, as honey mead and as a fermented extract.
We make offerings to Her altars, and allow our relationship with the plant medicine to deepen gradually, over many days, gifting her our attention, our prayers and our devotion.
We begin listening for the ways she is also working with us - which are often subtle, yet powerful!
We often experience Blue Lotus as opening our physical and spiritual bodies, bringing presence into our being so that dormant knowledge can begin expressing itself again -
Through Us,
Through Sound.
In this way, Blue Lotus becomes one of our first preparations for Dendera - opening the temple within us before we carry Her flower, our prayers, and our opened Voices into the Temple itself.
ARAMAIC
The Sacred Language of Prayer
Aramaic was the language spoken by the Essenes - and therefore by Yeshua and Mary Magdalene.
It was one of the many prayer languages used in their ceremonies within both their temples and communities, and the chants we sing in Aramaic connect us with an ancient devotional current associated with their world and teachings.
It has become one of the central light languages and sounding prayers sung within our
pilgrimages, ceremonies, and rituals.
During our time of preparation by the Nile, we will share some of the Aramaic language and prayers that they chanted, which we believe are encoded with light, power, mystery and healing frequencies.
In ceremony and ritual, we will chant, tone and sing together in order to purify our vessels, unlock our voices, and open up our channels to the Divine.
The more we sing, tone, pray and live together as a tribe, the more our group becomes increasingly centered and coherent. We begin to carry these chants not just as external sounds, but as living vibrations we actively embody.
Aramaic as a sacred language aids us in opening our voices, and awakening the healing power that lives within all of us.
SOUNDING LIGHT
Awakening The Healing Power of Your Voice
Sounding Light is a ceremonial sound medicine and experimental practice in which we sing directly into the body and light body simultaneously.
It is the central initiatory current and one of the deepest ceremonial space within Sounds of Light:
learning to use our voices in devotional surrender as a carrier of prayer, energy, light, healing intention and transformation.
Through direct sounding, collective harmonic fields, group intention, Aramaic chants, intuitive voice and multidimensional transmission, we create a coherent field around a person -
inviting what has become fixed to become more available to movement and reorganisation.
Sounding Light is a living body of work that has been developing through our deeper ceremonies for more than a decade.
This is not simply a workshop in intuitive singing, nor is it a passive sound journey.
It is an active practice in which we surrender some of the narratives our minds often play out, so that we can become an instrument to the Divine.
There may be something in your life that has become stuck or over-structured.
It may be a pattern you understand but cannot seem to move, a limitation in your Voice, a creative block, or a place where you have learned to contract, control yourself.
We bring these places into the centre of the ceremony..
..and then we work with sound.
Within our Sounding Light ceremonies, you will have opportunities to receive direct multidimensional Sounding Light transmissions into and around your physical body and light body.
Thomas will be bringing some of the deeper transmission work that has developed through his own relationship with the Hathoric and Arcturian fields, and through more than a decade of exploration influenced by the work of Tom Kenyon.
Within the multidimensional understanding that informs Sounds of Light, we experience these sounds as more than music.
We experience these sounds as carriers of prayer, healing energy, consciousness and light.
Rather than deciding intellectually where a sound should go, we listen into the person and allow the Voice to follow what is asking to move through the physical body, the energetic field and the light body
Our intention is not to force healing.
It is to create a sufficiently coherent ceremonial field, in which something which has been fixed
may become movable.
That the body may respond before the analytical mind has time to reconstruct the familiar pattern.
That energy which has been held, suppressed or over-controlled may begin to move again.
That more of you becomes available.
But Sounding Light is not only something you receive.
The deeper initiation is learning to become the channel yourself.
Throughout our days in Aswan, we actively work with opening and clearing our own Sound Channel through various vocal practices and rituals from the Essenes.
We will bring forward the intention to release some of what constricts your voice and personal expression, while strengthening your capacity to connect with Source.
We will share with you how to listen beyond the conscious mind, and how to allow prayer, energy, light and healing intention to move through your voice into another human being.
You will learn to listen into another person's field, sound without knowing beforehand what you are going to sing, and feel when the sound wants to change, stay, move or fall into silence.
And gradually, to discover the difference between making sound, and allowing yourself to become an instrument through which sound can move in service.
This is why the work is Initiatory.
We are opening our Voices as a multidimensional channels, through which prayer, consciousness, and light can travel.
And through which we may offer ourselves in devotion and service to the healing of another being.
As our pilgrimage deepens, this capacity becomes part of what we eventually carry into Dendera.
Because to enter the Temple of Hathor as an initiate of sound, we do not only want to bring voices that are open.
We want Voices that have learned how to listen, receive, transmit and serve.
THE LIVING SOUND TEMPLE
From Individual Voice to a Collective Sound Field
As the week unfolds, built upon the foundation laid by the 4 pillars of our pilgrimage, our individual practice becomes collective practice.
We sound and pray together.
We receive and hold one another.
We learn how to weave our own voice into the collective harmony that unfolds, In doing so, our group becomes increasingly coherent.
That coherence allows us to move as One Field, or what we call a Living Sound Temple -
A Sound Temple made from living human beings;
a collective energetic resonance that allows us to move into Sacred spaces as
One Field, One Body, and One Temple.
This is what we are cultivating by the Nile, as we prepare ourselves to enter the
Sacred Temples of Egypt.

All participants need to be at the lodge by 15 November. Arrival on 14 November is optional for those who would like an additional day to land and settle.
